Policy: GCP > Compute Engine > API Enabled

Check whether GCP Compute Engine API is enabled.

API Enabled refers specifically to the API state of a service in a cloud project. This control determines whether the API state is set as per desired level.

The GCP > Compute Engine > API Enabled control compares the API state against the API Enabled policies, raises an alarm, and takes the defined enforcement action.

Targets

This policy targets the following resource types:

  • GCP > Project

Controls

Setting this policy configures these controls:

  • GCP > Compute Engine > API Enabled
  • GCP > Compute Engine > Project > CMDB
  • GCP > Compute Engine > Disk > CMDB
  • GCP > Compute Engine > Health Check > CMDB
  • GCP > Compute Engine > HTTP Health Check > CMDB
  • GCP > Compute Engine > HTTPS Health Check > CMDB
  • GCP > Compute Engine > Image > CMDB
  • GCP > Compute Engine > Instance > CMDB
  • GCP > Compute Engine > Instance Template > CMDB
  • GCP > Compute Engine > Node Group > CMDB
  • GCP > Compute Engine > Node template > CMDB
  • GCP > Compute Engine > Region Disk > CMDB
