Resource Type: AWS > SSM > Maintenance Window
The Maintenance Window resource type is a designated period of time during which you can perform potentially disruptive actions on your instances, such as patching an operating system, updating drivers, or installing software or patches. These actions can be scheduled to run on your EC2 instances during these preset maintenance windows to minimize the impact on your services and users.
