Policy: GCP > CIS v5.0 > 1 - Identity and Access Management > 1.01 - Organization Resource > 1.01.03 - Ensure Folders Are Structured By Environment And Sensitivity > Attestation
By setting this policy, you attest that you have manually verified that it complies with the relevant section of the CIS Benchmark.
From Google Cloud console
1. Go to IAM & Admin > Manage resources and select the organization to view its folder hierarchy. 2. Verify that the top-level folders separate environments and sensitivity levels, and note any folder whose purpose is unclear or that is organized by department or owner instead. 3. For each folder, sample its projects and verify that their workloads match the folder's purpose, that production and non-production workloads are not mixed, and that regulated or highly sensitive workloads are not placed in folders meant for lower-sensitivity use.
Once verified, enter the date that this attestation expires. Note that the date can not be further in the future than is specified in GCP > CIS v5.0 > 1 - Identity and Access Management > 1.01 - Organization Resource > Maximum Attestation Duration, which by default follows GCP > CIS v5.0 > 1 - Identity and Access Management > Maximum Attestation Duration and then GCP > CIS v5.0 > Maximum Attestation Duration. Set to a blank value to clear the attestation.
