Policy: GCP > CIS v5.0 > 1 - Identity and Access Management > 1.01 - Organization Resource > 1.01.02 - Ensure Super Admin Account Is Not Used For Google Cloud Administration > Attestation
By setting this policy, you attest that you have manually verified that it complies with the relevant section of the CIS Benchmark.
From the Google Admin console and Google Cloud console
1. In the Google Admin console (https://admin.google.com), go to Account > Admin roles > Super Admin and note every account assigned the role. 2. In the Google Cloud console, go to IAM & Admin > IAM and review the IAM policy of the organization, each folder and each project. 3. Verify that none of the super admin accounts from step 1 appear in any IAM binding.
From Google Cloud CLI
gcloud organizations get-iam-policy <ORGANIZATION_ID> gcloud resource-manager folders get-iam-policy <FOLDER_ID> gcloud projects get-iam-policy <PROJECT_ID>
Once verified, enter the date that this attestation expires. Note that the date can not be further in the future than is specified in GCP > CIS v5.0 > 1 - Identity and Access Management > 1.01 - Organization Resource > Maximum Attestation Duration, which by default follows GCP > CIS v5.0 > 1 - Identity and Access Management > Maximum Attestation Duration and then GCP > CIS v5.0 > Maximum Attestation Duration. Set to a blank value to clear the attestation.
