Configures auditing against a CIS Benchmark item.

Level: 2

Data that is communicated between the driver and worker nodes within an Azure Databricks cluster can be encrypted using cluster initialization scripts.

Encrypting inter-cluster traffic ensures that sensitive data transmitted between cluster nodes is protected from eavesdropping and interception. This is particularly important for clusters processing sensitive or regulated data.

This control requires manual verification to confirm that cluster initialization scripts are configured to enable inter-node encryption.
