Policy: Azure > CIS v4.0 > 06 - Identity Services > 06.03 - Periodic Identity Reviews > 06.03.01 - Ensure that Azure admin accounts are not used for daily operations > Attestation

By setting this policy, you attest that you have manually verified that it complies with the relevant section of the CIS Benchmark.

To verify admin accounts are not used for daily operations: 1. Review the list of accounts with administrative privileges 2. Verify that each admin account is dedicated solely for administrative tasks 3. Confirm that standard user accounts are used for daily work activities 4. Check sign-in logs to ensure admin accounts are not used for routine activities

Once verified, enter the date that this attestation expires. Note that the date can not be further in the future than is specified in report level Maximum Attestation Duration policy. Set to a blank value to clear the attestation.
