Policy: Azure > AI Foundry > RAI Policy > Content Filters > Output Filter > Hate
The state required for the Hate content filter on the completion (output) side of the RAI policy.
Each value checks only the fields it names. Enabled requires the filter to be on; Enabled and blocking requires it to be on and blocking; Disabled requires it to be off, and a filter missing from the policy counts as off. Skip leaves this filter unchecked.
The threshold this filter acts at comes from Output Filter > Hate > Severity Threshold (default Medium), which also supplies the threshold Azure requires when the filter has to be created.
Switching a harm category off on the completion side needs Microsoft approval; without it Azure rejects the change and the control reports the failure.
